The Colihaut Heights to Syndicate Trail

Segment 10 of the Waitukubuli National Trail is the most westerly segment and traverses old and abandoned farms and estate roads. The hike is said to be an easy one requiring approximately three (3) hours to hike approximately 7 km. The area is heavily forested and sections of the Northern Forest Reserve provide excellent opportunities for sighting the Jaco and Sisserou Parrots as well as other fauna in their natural and un-disturbed habitats.

One of the natural attractions on this segment is the Syndicate Nature Trail which is fitted with a reception area where persons can be rejuvenated after hiking.
