Segment 7 is a perfect introduction into Dominica’s banana and agricultural farm life. This trail emphasizes that Dominica is clean, green and ideal for relaxation and tranquillity. From the Hatten Garden Estate to the farm land at First Camp in the heights of Marigot, showcases agricultural cultivation, primary forest stands, rivers and exotic coastal vistas. Segment 7 consists of a Congorie Hole as well as Walter Williams Orchard (an area for parrot habitat and bird watching).
It is said to be a moderate/difficult hike with approximately 8.9 km long and begins at Hatten Garden and ends in the heights of Marigot.
Other Waitukubuli National Trail facilities on the segment include a Birding Tower at Williams Orchard and a small toilet facility.
