The Castle Bruce to Hatten Garden Trail

Walking through the forest under the rainfall and then unto the main road feeling the cool breeze as well as feeling fresh all over is described as Segment 6. From Richmond in the village of Castle Bruce, the trail takes you through the Kalinago Territory, home to Dominica’s Indigenous people commonly known as the Carib Territory. This segment showcases culture and lifestyles of the Kalinago people. Segment 6 is said to be a moderate/difficult hike to some extent.

It is 14.4 km long and has a newly built Carib Cultural Village named the Kalinago Barana Aute. At this village, the Isulakati Waterfall can be seen. It also provides stunning vistas of the Atlantic coastline and the Tourism National Parks Facility which provides services to the Waitukubuli National Trail and the Kalinago Barana Aute. It begins at Castle Bruce and ends at Hatten Garden.
