Hiking 12.1 km for approximately five (5) hours with little difficulty at a moderate paste, Segment 2 of the trail provides you with natural attractions such as Soufriere Sulphur Springs and passes through our Maroon history/site, the Old Slave Route and farm lands showcasing livestock and small scale agricultural farming. Between Segment 1 and 2, the tourism/national parks facilities services to the Waitukubuli National Trail are provided by Caribantic and the Soufriere Sulphur Springs.
This segment begins at Soufriere Estate and ends at Bellevue Chopin, an experience as you take a real glimpse of Dominica’s thick rain forest which gives the opportunity for sighting of local flora and fauna and cultural heritage.
