Weather Advisory on Potential Tropical Storm Two

At 5pm yesterday, the National Hurricane Center (NHC) started issuing advisories on Potential Tropical Cyclone Two located east of the Lesser Antilles.
A closed circulation has not been confirmed within the system, however, that system has a high chance of becoming a tropical storm and poses a threat to land and tropical storm warnings has been issued for portions of the southern Windward Islands.
Tropical Storm Warning are in effect for:
* Trinidad
* Tobago
* Grenada
* Venezuela from Pedernales to Cumana including Isla de Margarita
A Tropical Storm Watch is in effect for:
* Bonaire
* Aruba
The tropical storm warning for Barbados and St. Vincent and the Grenadine Islands has been discontinued.
A Tropical Storm Warning means that tropical storm conditions are expected somewhere within the warning area within 36 hours.
At 11am, this morning, the disturbance was centered near latitude 8.8 north, longitude 56.8 west or about 325 miles or 525 km east southeast of Trinidad. The system is moving toward the west near 25 mph (41 km/h). A fast motion toward the west-northwest is expected for the next 48 hours. On the forecast track, the disturbance is expected to move through the Windward Islands and near the eastern coast of Venezuela tonight and early Tuesday.
Maximum sustained winds are near 40 mph (65 km/h) with higher gusts. Some strengthening is forecast during the next 48 hours and the disturbance is forecast to be a tropical storm when it moves through the Windward Islands and eastern Venezuela tonight and Tuesday.
Shower and thunderstorm activity associated with the disturbance continues to show signs of organization and additional development is likely during the next couple of days. Tropical storm force winds extend outward up to 70 miles/ 110 km mainly northwest through northeast of the center.
Tropical storm conditions are expected to first reach the warning area overnight Monday and Tuesday morning, making outside preparations difficult or dangerous.
The disturbance is expected to produce total rain accumulations of 2 to 4 inches over the Windward Islands Monday through Tuesday.
Despite the fact that no watches or warnings has been issued for Dominica, Residents are advised to monitor the progress of this system and to remain vigilant as a feeder band from the system could move across the island resulting in an increase in rainfall, possible thunderstorms and gusty winds on Tuesday and a flood watch may be issued for Dominica by Tuesday. A small craft warning is already in effect for Dominica as of 6pm yesterday to 6pm on Tuesday for above normal seas and high winds.
