Weather Outlook for Dominica and the Lesser Antilles

Moisture and instability ahead of a westward moving tropical wave will continue to produce cloudiness, scattered showers and possible isolated thunderstorms across parts of the island chain during this afternoon. Thereafter, the axis of a tropical wave is expected to move across the island chain. Hazy and breezy conditions will also be evident.
Moderate seas are expected during the next 24 to 48 hours with waves peaking near 8.0 feet. Small craft operators and sea bathers are advised to exercise caution.
