Weather Outlook for Dominica and the Lesser Antilles
Valid from: 6:00 AM on Monday, August 28, 2017
Weak unstable conditions due to the presence of a tropical wave and a weak trough will maintain an increase in cloudiness and shower activity mainly across the Leeward Islands and the extreme southern portion of the Lesser Antilles. However, dry sinking air will result in a relative improvement in conditions across the island during the next 24 hours. A temporary increase in cloudiness and a few localized showers can be expected during the afternoon.
Slight to moderate seas are expected during the next 24 to 48 hours with waves peaking near 5.0 feet.
